Since 2016 my wife Cindy, has been a potter under to teaching of Collin Rosebrook, a master potter at Paseo Pottery in Oklahoma City. She loves to create one-of-a-kind, beautiful, and functional pottery for everyday use. She uses stoneware clay and glazes she mixes herself. .

I have been a professional coffee roaster studying some of the great roasters such as Scott Rao and many others. We both take our art and craft very seriously looking to achieve uniqueness, beauty, creativity, and joyful fun. .

When it comes to the coffee brew, exceptional taste and freshness are the target every week. That comes from providing an excellent coffee roasting profile for our customers that is never 12 short days beyond the roast and 80% of our roasted coffee is but 5 days old. .

Our company name, ExploJo comes from an event 15 years ago when we decided to create descriptive names for each other. Hers for me was Daragone which means dare to believe and it’s gone and mine for her was ExploJo which means exploding joy. The name itself describes our colorful approach to serving the public. A passion to bring an exciting smile that comes from putting joy into everything we do and in every way we serve. .

We have spent 34 years living in Broken Arrow and have enjoyed the privilege of hosting and creating several businesses including BES, Broken Arrow Tuxedo, Broken Arrow Bridal and Prom, Web Development and Marketing, Wedding Decisions, Gallery Wedding Photography, Transcribe Video Productions, and others. All these little treasures brought experiences and relationships that have added color and joy to our lives as well as the opportunity to become a part of others who were traveling along the same journey as us. .

Being a part of the extraordinary Rose District Farmers Market has been a treat we cannot get enough of. The City of Broken Arrow itself is the bonus. This city is the most forward-thinking and progressive city in the entire State of Oklahoma. It is an honor and joy to be part of such a loving, supportive community. .

As for our cookies, well everyone knows that the best cookies in town are from grandma’s kitchen. .
